The Makers Film Series

In 2023, Silent Republic was commissioned to produce a series of short films to celebrate the makers and artisans involved with the grand opening of The Ritz-Carlton, Melbourne and its signature restaurant, Atria. This involved a dawn forage for new season truffles, a visit to the Dandenong Ranges to meet the knife maker who expertly crafted the dining knives for Atria, a day with a bespoke ceramicists as they shaped the perfect vessels to frame delectable culinary morsels, and an afternoon with an iconic Melbourne milliner as she put the finishing touches on a ceremonial top hat.
